Gym Inspiration


Remember the dreadful days when you ‘think’ you’re too tired to hit the gym, and therefore skip it? And the next day goes the same. And soon enough you see your gym membership card expired. Imagine what would happen if Ronnie Brower did the same!

Meet Ronnie Brower, who weighed around 675 pounds two years ago. To put things into metric system perspective, he weighed 307 Kg! His abusive lifestyle of drugs, alcohol and severe depression led to this life threatening weight gain and doctors gave a grim prognosis that he won’t be able to make it till the age of 35. All Brower needed was some inspiration, and he found that inspiration in his favorite pop star Taylor Swift.

Brower decided that he will flip his lifestyle in a way that would make him a source of inspiration for all the obese people. With a strict workout regime and even stricter diet and loads of Taylor Swift songs (for inspiration), Brower lost 425 pounds of weight, that is, around 193 Kg.
Since there was so much to be done regarding his fitness regime and diet, his former high school teacher, Joe Bufano, helped him with his struggles. And soon enough with one little push-up, one gut-wrenching ab crunch at a time, he made the impossible happen.

He shed down 425 pounds to reach his target weight of 250 pounds. He even made a Facebook page called 600 lbs to Success to document all his exercise routine and his daily struggles. But all that he posts now is the media coverage he gets due to his exceptional weight loss success story.
